The Area

Le Moulin de Grolhier is located in the Dordogne, north of Nontron in the "Perigord Vert" deep in the Perigord - Limousin Natural Park. We are between 3 cities: Perigueux, Limoges and Angouleme, near the small, picturesque hamlet of Busserolles. It is an ideal setting for a self catering holiday in France.

On site we have a games room with a pool table, table football, darts and table-tennis.
Outside you will find a badminton/volley net on a flat outdoor games area. Petanque balls are available for adults and children and a selection of balls, rackets and other games.
A large childrens climb frame with swings, slide, monkey bars, see-saw and sand pit. Near the the pool a play house on stilts.

There are tennis courts in Busserolles and a small swimming lake that has play-area for smaller children. And of course an abundance of fascinating sites and museums throughout the area. Nontron also has swimming baths. St Estephe lake is well worth a visit with it's lovely sandy beach, free canoes and play park.

There are big weekly markets in near by towns of Piegut and Nontron - perfect places to pick up local produce and practice your French! The wednesday morning market in Piegut is one of the largest around, so don't miss it!
